The Aqua Detox machine has been designed to balance the cells in the body to a level where they function more efficiently. In a healthy body each cell has a negative potential of between 70 and 90 millivolts. This is the level at which nutritional absorption and the discharge of toxic wastes is efficient. A stressed, or injured cell may measure as little as 10-20 millivolts and will be less able to absorb nutrients and excrete waste products. Cells may become stressed through a sudden shock such as an accident or over a period of time due to poor diet, stress or a toxic environment.
